Carbon Pioneer Recognition Scheme

The Carbon Pioneer Recognition Scheme (the Scheme) for the Food & Beverage Industry in Hong Kong represents a groundbreaking initiative tailored to acknowledge and honour the exceptional efforts of restaurants committed to carbon reduction and sustainability. A core feature of this scheme involves the integration of an Interactive List and Interactive Map, designed to showcase registered restaurants to the public, providing a dynamic platform for visibility and recognition.

Benefits of joining the Scheme

There are no financial obligations but with following benefits.

    • Site assessments and carbon emission calculations offered
    • Award for Carbon Pioneer label based on specific requirements
    • Promotion on program website for positive brand image
    • Issuance of certificates for recognized restaurants
